This TTY (Talk To You) telecommunication device for the deaf allows people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired to use the 1830 series telephone entry system. The user is required to have a TTY communication device to plug into the 1830’s TTY device in order to communicate.This device can be wired to an existing 1830 system which has already been installed (Add-On) or installed during a new 1830 installation.
