Refund and Returns Policy

At EagleEye Freight Inc., we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not work for your specific project. Below is our policy regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging with all seals intact.
- Accessories: All original components, manuals, cables, mounting hardware, and software discs must be included.
- RMA Number: No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please contact us to generate this number before shipping anything back.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned:
- Software & Licenses: Any software licenses or camera activation codes that have been opened or digitally redeemed.
- Cables: Custom-cut cables or wiring.
- Installation Services: Labor costs for installation services are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
- Special Orders: Items that were specially ordered or customized for your specific project.
4. Restocking Fee
Because security equipment involves sensitive electronics that require rigorous testing upon return:
- Unopened Items: No restocking fee.
- Opened (Non-Defective) Items: Returns of non-defective items that have been opened or used are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
5. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected by our technical team, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
6. Defective or Damaged Items (DOA)
If you received a defective or damaged product (Dead on Arrival), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return of defective units.
- We will ship a replacement unit immediately upon verification of the defect.
- Note: Damage caused by improper installation (e.g., incorrect voltage, water damage to non-waterproof units) is NOT covered under this policy and voids the warranty.
7. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at [email protected] with your Order ID and reason for return.
- Wait for our team to provide you with an RMA Number and return address.
- Pack the item securely to avoid damage during transit.
